Promising future for the game

Holy Smokes has it evolved! Since our first glimpses of the game, team Kiwi Extreme has continued to regularly give out updates, we have received a lot of updates from the official Kiwi Extreme social media handles and recently they released some more concept designs that are looking great. Your interest is piqued by just looking at the unique aesthetics. We now know that as Macifer (the main character) a former Visored, you’ll be exploring the ruined underwater kingdom of Atlantis in your quest to unravel an ancient mystery. The first area you’ll encounter as you descend beneath the surface is the Reef of Melancholy. These are the remains of winding trenches and alleyways carved out, linking the vast kingdom of Atlantis together. The paths are still open to brave Travellers, but years of disrepair and malignance by creatures of the deep have made them dangerous to explore, especially for the unwary. Your adventure begins here, where you should start by exploring the world around you, try to gain your bearings, then plan out your next move and go to the deeper areas of Atlantis.

The paths are made up of winding roads and caverns filled with dangerous creatures. The layout is open, so you may find it overwhelming when initially exploring the vast inter-connected tunnels. If you persevere though and keep exploring, eventually you will find the way forward, and as you move along the way you may also uncover hidden shortcuts and snatch powerful treasures from the tentacles of titans. Your journey will hone your skills, and once you know the path forward you will travel deeper into Atlantis stronger and wiser than when you began your journey.

The devs have also thanked their backers and their fans for being patient and encouraging. "We promise a vast world and we’re working hard to make sure you get it." says Greg, the head of development.
